Logo and brand created for The TASTE Bakehouse. I used a cow as the main icon because of the animal’s contribution to so many baked goods, and to tie in a piece of the company’s history on a dairy farm. A touch of  whimsy - and another bakery connection - is created with the addition of the whisk. This element also adds balance to the design. The texture in the cow’s spots is inspired by the texture of flour strewn on a baking table. Calming blue hues are used to convey the sense of contentment you feel when you gaze upon a bakery case of fresh baked goods.
